INTRODUCTION
The
Associación Urbe Región y Biota
Equilibrada (ASURBE) is a nonprofit organization
to prepare Projects for Urban Development, Agricultural
Development, Biodiversity Protection, Industrial
and Mining Investment.
Our
NGO was created to develop urban design projects
including appropriate services that respond to
the evident demand for use of undeveloped areas
of desert as well as undervalued agricultural
land near our cities.
We
seek cooperating agencies, to carry out these
activities to solve problems of food, education,
and health.
ASURBE
is managed by nine members of the Board of Directors.
The Directors are experienced and distinguished
professionals, graduates of the Escuela de Ingenieros
del Peru, Universidad Nacional de Ingenieros,
Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and the
Universidad Ricardo Palma. Most have also carried
out postgraduate studies, or in some cases their
entire university careers, in Europe or the United
States.
ASURBE,
in addition, includes 21 professionals with university
degrees and specialization in Peru and other countries
in the fields of architecture, planning, civil
engineering for roads, bridges, irrigations, ecologists,
sanitary engineers, electrical engineers, archaeologists,
economists, agriculturalists, sociologists, gas
and petroleum engineering, railroads, ports, airports
and others to cover all aspects of urban development.
Our objectives are long range but we are interested
in carrying out subprojects required to achieve
the medium and long range goals.
